I have been married for 8 years - the second time around is so much better!!! I have a 20yo daughter in college and 17yo & 15yo sons at home. I also have a Pug named Samantha and a mutt named Trixie. I am an RN working at an insurance company in San Antonio. I love to read - James Patterson,Stuart Woods,John Grisham, Robin Cook - and watch old movies. Now that the kids are fairly "self sufficient", I have more time to spend in the kitchen - I love looking for new recipes on the internet! I also love trying new wines - especially reds. My pet peeves are: 1)people who drive slow in "my" lane - the fast lane - on the freeway; 2)people who don't put their kids in a car seat; and 3)people who don't pick up their dog poop in other peoples yard (sorry, but that REALLY irks me)!

FAVORITE DISH TO COOK: hmmmm...hard choice...Chili (in the winter) and anything quick, easy and delicious in the summer!

MY FAMOUS DISH: Chili, Guacamole, my Holiday Eggnog

FAVORITE RESTAURANT: depends on what I'm hungry for, but my most fav is Pang Thai in Houston...ITALIAN: Johnny Carino's...MEXICAN: Gringo's in San Antonio...BBQ: Rudy's or Granzin's in New Braunfels...BURGERS: The Ticket in New Braunfels...STEAK: Outback
