Hi! Moved to Texas from Ohio last year and discovered the best thing about Texas is the food!! My husband is in the Coast Guard stationed in Galveston (which is what brought us to Texas!!). I have one son, a very picky 11 year old and a 15 year old stepdaughter that just came to live we us when we moved here. She's a great help in the kitchen and will try anything I make.

I love this recipe site as before I found this I was a frozen food and hamburger helper kind of cook. I found I enjoy cooking but have a lot to learn. I am still figuring out this site but would love to get into the games eventually.

Favorite Foods:

Would have to be Tex-Mex!! My favorite dishes to cook involve chicken as I can seem to do these without messing them up. My favorite restuarant would have to be the Olive Garden.
