about me

I have a wonderful job cooking for a very large, extended family. My time is divided between their homes, with each Thursday devoted to "Family Night",
when they all come together to catch up on their busy lives. My job is too fun
and rewarding to be called "work"!
I'm an empty nester, and have 2 grandkids and one one the way! I enjoy being "Kizzie", which is my "grandmother name"! Three children, Amanda is 26, mother of my "grands". Joey is 25, a police officer, and engaged to be married next year. Elizabeth is 20, and a sophmore (almost a junior!!) majoring in accounting.
I'm off to the Virgin Islands for the month of October!!! Will be doing a work-exchange program at Maho Bay Camp Resort. PARADISE AWAITS!!!!
I also work as a barista in a very cool coffee house. It's been challenging, as I'm NOT a coffee drinker! But I'm learning! It's the best-smelling job I've ever had!!
I have an an adorable chihuahua named Penny Lane- 2 lbs., soaking wet! She's not your average chi... this girl loves people, traveling, boating, hiking, and even riding ATVs'!!! Penny doesn't bite, but she might just lick someone to death!!!
I have enjoyed PAC, Zaar Tag, and also "Went to the Market". Too many new friends to mention, but I love you all! And, to my Swap buddies, thanks for making me giggle...

Favorite Foods:

Seafood!! Eating and cooking... my favorite food in the world is South African rock lobster tails, with lots of butter!
Fried okra... grits with butter...fresh-caught flounder with lemon!! Silver Queen corn, yellow squash with Vidalia onions... I LOVE living in the South!!
