Hi! I am a 29-year-old stepmother and mother of two boys, ages 11 and 6. I live in sunny (and sometimes unbearably hot) Arizona! I have been married to the most amazing man for 6 years now. I have my own business, which is based in my home so I can raise my kids. My absolute favorite cookbook is 'The Joy of Cooking.' For fun I like to cook (obviously), shop, watch movies, learn about and collect wines, read, play guitar, and surf the internet.

Favorite Foods:

My favorite dish to cook is anything on the grill. Most of my 'famous' dishes are recipes that I found right here on 'Zaar! And quite a few of those are posted by Mean Chef. I can't get enough of his recipes! My favorite restaurant, hands down, is Pappadeaux (Cajun-Seafood). I also love the Salt Cellar (Seafood). I've been to several 4 star restaurants in town, and each time we go (with one exception, enFuego at the Scottsdale Doubletree Resort) my husband and I agree that we could have made better food ourselves! I credit a lot of that to 'Zaar!
