about me

Hi all! Just a bit about me I suppose... I live in Chicago,IL, the city of big shoulders, one of the finest cities in the world! I spend my days at the Shedd aquarium with the belugas, dolphins, penguins, and otters there (mostly getting wet and dirty!) And I'm also workin' on my masters in marine biology.
I love to cook, and have found Zaar to be a wonderful resource full of great food and great folks... two of the most important things in life
Being born in Israel and of Tunisian decent, food is naturally quite important to me.. so this is fun!

Favorite Foods:

As you've probably realized, I like food, but choosing a favorite is hard. I have to admit I do enjoy spice, so please watch for that in my recipes. Having spent much time in Chicago, loving Mexican food is second nature, but I do like Cajun and Mediterranean/Middle Eastern Food as well. I could go on and on.
