I may be a country girl and cook like one... but I like to add a little something special to my dishes, that makes them unmistakeably mine.
I am mom to 3 and gr'ma to 3, and have been married 3 X's. Seeing a pattern here. 3rd time seems to be my charm. I have the most
precious hubby, family and life. I am so grateful for them all. God has surely blessed me.
I started cooking at age 4 with my grandmother, and on my own for the family when I was 9. Aint telling how many years ago that was. : )
I don't have a favorite dish; But....
My brother always wants me to make him lasagna.
My daughter's request my stuffed bell peppers and mashed taters & turkey and home made dressing.
My son's favorite is chicken. Second is shrimp. For the longest time he called every kind of meat chicken.
2 year old granddaughter whines that she needs chocolate at all times, and my two grandsons are my cookie monsters.
Hubby teases that he married me for my cooking ability.
But he can cook; some things even better than I can.
My father told me when I was in my 20's that I cook like a grandma. Guess grandma taught me well.
