I live on Vancouver Island now after spending the last 20 years or so raising our family of 8 out in The Muskokas of Ontario.I have had many years of daily requests in the kitchen so have really become the Modern Day "Fanny Farmer" of sorts. We have done alot of gardening and preserving all our lives so healthy living becomes part of a daily ritual for us all.
I am so happy that I found Recipezaar and have used it daily for quite sometime now. Thanks to "Chef Lennie" she got me really interested and going with it!(which by the way .... all her recipes are outstanding...) I have her recipe pages book marked..
I am sure I will enjoy years to come with this little hobby of "Recipezaar"

I am a real comfort food hunter and baker...always have been always will be...
my fav is your good old apple crumble with Vanilla Ice Cream. My daughter is a Chef and I get to experience many high end entrees and desserts but I always come back to baking and cooking the good 'ole standbys and basics.The kids always come home for my Yorkshire Puddin' and Country Baked ShortRibs! "THe BEST in the Country" they have always said. Guess I should post that one day, as well as the Best Meatballs in the County that have won a couple of prizes and compliments along the way!
