You might not see me on here much this semester. I'm a graduate student in art history at the University of Kansas, and I'm finishing my last semester of coursework for my Master's degree. I also work in the Writing Center on campus, and I'm teaching Western Art II at the Kansas City Art Institute, where I completed my Bachelor's (about an hour away). I'm definitely looking for some quick, easy recipes that fit our dietary needs.
My "vegiversary" is coming up soon: one year of vegetarianism. I have also phased out dairy and discovered that my husband has celiac disease. So, basically everything I cook is vegan/gluten-free.
Foods from all different cultures, organic, fresh ingredients, homemade, vegan baked goods, sushi. I'll eat anything that's good for me!
I collect vintage cookbooks (like the Jello Salad Selector), mostly for novelty's sake, as well as vegan cookbooks.
