I live in Lawrence, KS and work for the University of Kansas...GO HAWKS!!! I have been married to my great husband for a little over 10 years now. We don't have human children but consider our dogs to be our kids. I love to camp, fish, take our dogs, Murphy & Willow to the dog park. My photo icon is Willow at about 9 weeks old. I am truely a dog person and spoil mine, they are rotten!!

One of my favorite cookbooks is The Joy of Cooking. I can usually find just about any recipe in that book. I also really love the Zaar since finding it.

Favorite Foods:

I enjoy smoking food, although am just a beginner at it. I like cooking just about anything I don't have to "babysit" too much. I have a spinach pie that has been adopted by my Mom and sister. They make it often. My DH does not like spinach so he is not enthused to try it, so I don't make it just for us.

One of my favoriate restaurants is Jalepeno's in Brookside MO.
