Hi, I am a stay at home mom of two. I am always looking for new recipes to try on my family. I happened upon Zaar on my recipe quest, and have found several keeper recipes. You could say cooking is my hobby. I enjoy experimenting and trying new flavors. I come from a family of good cooks, and I guess it is just in my genes. One of my food pet peeves is going out to a restaurant and finding that what you are eating tastes like it came out of a can or a box, I can do that at home!!

Favorite Foods:

I guess my favorite dishes to make are Mexican, as I come from mexican roots and those recipes seem to come more naturally. My Dad was always in the kitchen making his mole, enchilada, and chilie sauces from scratch. My husband says everything I make is good as he was having trouble coming up with just one dish, but I think what really nabbed him when we were dating was my roast beef w/ roasted carrots and potatoes.
