about me

I'm a proud mother of 2 married sons and 2 young granddaughters. I came to Maine to be near my 2 girls. I very often bring dinner to my family using Recipezaar recipes, which get great reviews.
I've been getting recipes from Recipezaar for years and think this is the best and easiest site to use, so I finally joined. The chefs here seem to be really friendly and helpful.
I love to read and I love art. I work 4 days a week selling furniture and look forward to working 3 days a week next year.

Favorite Foods:

My favorite foods are lobster, which is a good favorite if you live in Maine, any oriental food, pizza, salads, steak, and fish. I basically love to eat almost anything that's well prepared. I don't really like cream sauces too much and try to stay away from fried food. I cook a lot of meat, chicken and fish in my toaster oven, using Montreal Steak Seasoning, which I find goes well with anything.
The dish I'm most famous for is my Lasagna. I'm not too good a baker, and if I do bake, I use a lot of 'Zaar's cake mix recipes.
My favorite restaurant is in South Portland, the Great Wall, a Chinese buffet restaurant that has great Chinese, American, and Sushi.
Their seasonings are great.
