I cook with a microwave, a toaster oven and a rice cooker. It works out better than you'd think. I can even deep fry in the rice cooker.
I love reading cookbooks and coming up with simpler/tastier/more convenient versions of what I've read, and apparently I'm pretty good at it. I started doing it when I found out that my mother is allergic to wheat and gluten in all forms, and started adapting recipes for her sake.
As of Feb. 1st 2007, I took the oath of vegetarianism. Ovo-lacto-pesco-vegetarianism it may be, but I'm not killing any more chickens.
Mmmm... I love cheese ![]()
And I have the culinary goal of being able to satisfactorily replicate elements of a Chinese restaurant buffet, calories and all.
I'm getting closer every day.
