about me

My precious hubby, grown son & adorable poodle Missy & I live in a small town. I am a pharmacy technician for Harris Teeter Pharmacy in Burlington, NC. For fun, I do a LOT of counted x-stitches, and it relaxes me so much!!! Cooking is not a big thing to me, because I have a LOT of food allergies & so I have to change most recipes. I guess my pet peeve would be that I do have such a hard time finding a recipe that I don't have to change. And, I love that my hubby is such a GREAT cook, he has a real talent! I know how very lucky I am. I love to enter sweepstakes & to win is even better and I love Clay & Sally Hart's music. They use to be on the Lawrence Welk show & still perform.

I LOVE snow, which we don't get here much anymore.

We had a poodle Molly we had to put to sleep 12/12/08 & on 1/11/09 we got our precious puppy Missy!

Favorite Foods:

My favorite dishes are pizza made without onions, garlic, and other allergens for me. I created my own with a sauce I make myself & with carrots, celery, spinach, broccoli, ground beef & cheese.

I'm not famous for any dish, since I don't like to cook. I love many of the dishes my hubby comes up with. And we usually create them together, modified for me.

My favorite restaurant is Outback (salmon without anything on it, steamed broccoli, salad without onion or croutons & with my own dressing I can eat & the bread. My other favorite restaurant is Brixx Oven, they will fix a pizza for me I can eat & it doesn't cost a fortune. I love their very thin crust. They are SO helpful to accommodate my food allergies.
