I grew up in Indiana, graduated from college in 2005, and moved out to the DC area shortly thereafter for my job. I've been assisting now and then with the culinary classes at the local Sur La Table, which is a fun and relaxed way to get to actually work with experienced chefs and see how to cook many different types of food and techniques.
