I live in RURAL NC. I am a stay at home mom with 2 daughters, and 1 son (in law). I've been married for 34 yrs.
I love Paula Deen on the Food Network and all of her cookbooks are great. I collect local church and civic cookbooks. I enjoy cooking for the holidays and hate cooking for church socials! lol
So, I guess my pet peeve is cooking for church socials! lol

Favorite Foods:

My favorite dish to cook is anything in the crockpot! I am generally asked to bring my cheese ball to showers and parties. It was my Mom's recipe and she pasted away three years ago from Alzheimers.
My favorite places to eat are always little local joints.
I enjoy reading and love browsing cookbooks looking for something new to try.
