An older gentleman who enjoys cooking and is currently exploring the tastes and cooking methods of Oceania, the East and the Orient.

I value time spent sharing food with friends. Is there a better feeling than the sublime mellowness and goodwill which, by candle-light, can blanket pleasant company at the end of a splendid meal?

Favorite Foods:

Vegetables. Fruit. Fish. Fowl. Everything fresh and simply prepared. CHOCOLATE excepted. (Chocolate should be time-consumingly adored; gently warmed, then mixed with cream, liqueurs, and other ambrosials; laboriously married to cakes rich, light or cheesed; and white, dark, plain, semi or sweet, be melted-to-velvet, rolled, shredded, chipped, whipped, twirled, drizzled, dusted or piled into confections haut-chef complicated or virgin-simple.)
