about me

I was raised in a small beach town and now live at a high altitude. As long as I can see the mountains from our window, I can ALMOST live without hearing the waves late at night.

I love to spend time with my family. DH and I have two wonderful kids and a ton of nieces and nephews we adore.
Besides cooking,I also enjoy being creative and doing crafts. These passions are inherited from father, a wonderful, creative, down-home cook.

Favorite Foods:

I don't really have a favorite food. I am pretty easy to please. Although, I could eat good Mexican food everyday.

I love this site. I can add recipes to multiple cookbooks and keep them organized and safe. The selection of recipes is amazing and the people are all so nice.
Most of the recipes in my cookbooks are ones I'd like to try (this means I'll be cooking well into my 90's). If a recipe is a success, I add it to my kitchen file. If we don't care for it, I'll delete it from my cookbooks.

Thanks to all the wonderful chefs that share their recipes. I especially like the ones that bring back yummy chilhood memories.
