about me

I just moved to Granada Hills, CA from Santa Barbara, CA. I am an acupuncturist and I enjoy cooking for my husband and I. My favourite cookbook is the Mary Moore Cookbook. It is a Canadian cookbook, I was so glad my mom had the foresight to buy it for me when I was young, because you can't find it anymore!
My pet peeve is when people call Mandarin oranges Tangerines!!!!!!!!!

Favorite Foods:

I like making the Cheese and Tuna roll from the Mary Moore Cookbook. Everyone always loves it, including me....
A lot of my favourite foods are Ukranian in origin, because of my old neighbour in Canada who made perogies, cabbage rolls and borscht and let me eat to my heart's content.
My favourite restaurant is the Sojourner Cafe in Santa Barbara, always packed with locals...they serve earthy california cuisine. Just love it. Their coconut spinach soup is to die for.
