I am a work-at-home mother of 3 teenagers. I love spending my time talking to them and getting to know them better. I love to cook for them and my husband. I also love to read (cookbooks mostly), and spend time talking over a good cup of coffee with my friends and family.

Favorite Foods:

My favorite place to eat is in my dining room. I have been cooking since I could pull a chair up to the stove. I love to eat out, too. But I tend to pick the food apart and start thinking of what I would have done differently. My friends call me a food snob. I guess I am, but you can always tell when the cook actually cares about what he puts on your plate.
My favorite recipe must be Gumbo. I love to make a huge pot of Turkey and Andouille Gumbo right after Christmas. It has become a new family tradition.
