about me

I live in a small town, in a rural county. I have a job at the Post Office which I love. My family is the center of my life. My stepsons are off to college now which is a big change for us. Cooking is a bit of a challenge with only the two of us.

Favorite Foods:

Its hard to come up with one favorite food. I like all kinds of food. Italian, Mexican, Chinese. Living in a rural county I don't get exposed to a lot of different types of food so this site is great with the variety of recipes available.

I have several dishes I'm famous for. I created my own version of shrimp alfredo. My stepsons tell me every time we order that dish at a restaurant that its not as good as mine. I'm very proud of that. I also make a mean oatmeal cookie & a pecan tart that everyone always asks for.
