about me

I live in New Haven where I work as a non-profit office manager. The mother of two adult daughters who no longer live at home, my husband and I share our home with three felines! Sewing, cooking and reading are my passions! As a result of the Food Channel and the wide array of great recipes, I am a "teach myself to cook" person. I enjoy making breads and soups - so this time of year is my favorite! My collection of cookbooks will never grow old!

My older daughter and I have a passion for trying restaurants. New Haven is the place that boasts ethnic restaurants (I think 80 at last count!) There are no favorite ones - just many great ones! (depends on the mood of the moment!)
