I live in lower Westchester County, NY. I am employed full time. On May 30th 2008 I retired from one career and will start a new job the next week! My husband is disabled and while he cannot help me with shopping, cooking or cleaning; he enjoys eating what I make! I am always on the lookout for EASY recipes that are tasty and do not require a lot of prep time.
OK.... my "rating system" : such as it is:
Five stars: YUMMY and EASY; dh and I loved it
Four stars: Really good but maybe not as fast and easy to make as a 5 star.
After that, folks, you're gonna be disappointed if you want to see someone's work trashed, because I am NOT into that; unlike some sad people here, who are.... 'nuff said....
If I try a recipe and we didn't care for it- I figure that's OUR thing. ( that would probably be a 3 star- but just because we didn't like it- doesn't mean there's anything WRONG with it!)
If it didn't seem to come out the way it seems it should, I will presume I may have done something wrong and will z-mail the chef about it.
Edited Jan. 8, 2008 to add: last week I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes
so I will be learning a WHOLE new way of cooking...... And since then I have lost almost 20 pounds and brought my blood sugar down to below diabetic levels ( with medication and diet) I updated my photo- will add a better one once I have one!

Whatever I can make quickly that tastes great ( oh yeah, and is kosher!) ( and low carb, low or no sugar...)
