I'm a stay-at-home mom of three, expecting a fourth March '09. My dear husband is a UPS driver and burns a lot of calories during the day. I try to prepare hearty meals to satisfy his ravenous appetite. Plus, with small children and often a picky pregnant appetite, I must have variety in our menus.
I love cooking pastas and soups, but I love to eat anything off the grill. Lately, I discovered a local restaurant that makes an awesome New York Strip, served with a baked sweet potato.
My favorite menu is one I serve every first Sunday at lunch to our friends and family. Baked or smoked ham, grits, green beans, and fresh buttermilk biscuits.
