My Husband and I live in the southern interior of BC Canada. We have been married for 36 years and have 3 children, and a border collie named Spook, (she has always been a jumpy little thing, spooks at just a leaf blowing in the wind, the name suites her ha ha)Sorry to say, my Kitty passed away last summer, and we haven't replaced him.
My husband builds log homes, and I am retired from the Post Office where I was a rural mail carrier. My two eldest children are married and I have 5 grand children, my youngest daughter is in grade 12 this year.
Cooking has become a hassle for me lately due to my arthritis and diabetes. So this Christmas I am looking for both types of sweets, those with splenda for me (I don’t need to many, just enough so I can have a taste, along with my guests) and those I normally make for guests. This is my first Christmas as a Diabetic and I am quite worried about it.
