Hello! I'm married 17 years, 47, with 2 adult children and grandmother to one very special grandson and a newly adopted grand daughter! We had to put our dog down because of bone cancer, so currently we have one cat with an attitude. For fun I love to read what I call "smut romance novels" and to look thru old cook books, the older the better. Biggest pet peeve's are liars and people who don't do what they say they are going to do. I'm anal about keeping my house clean, but due to major surgery recently I've learned to relax and let it go.

My family is like fudge, mostly sweet, with a few nuts!

Where to start with this....hmmm..I love to be in the kithcen! I like to meal plan and I know I am going to shock you when I tell you all that I love to go grocery shopping! How weird is that?
I probally am most known for my down home cooking and my green chili. I don't do extravagent, just good old fashioned foods. I love mexican, texmex, and Iowa pork chops! Biggest love of food is anything that's in season, cantalope in August is my absolute fav!

I am in the process of trying to put together a family cookbook, what a huge job I've got to do!
