I am a HUGE Rick Springfield fan who also loves to cook! When I'm not at a Rick concert, I spend my days as a teacher. I've been teaching for 13 years and I truly believe it is what God put me on this earth to do!

I was a "lurker" on Zaar before I became a member. I'm proud to say I am now a Zaar Addict! I love the tag games, the great recipes and the wonderful people who make this the best site on the net!

I've refined my rating system over the past year but have yet to make a recipe I would give only 1 or 2 stars. Everything I've made has been great!

My ratings:

3 stars: We liked the recipe and would make again, maybe with some changes.
4 stars: We loved the recipe and it will go into our meal rotation.
5 stars: It passed the "family test" and is a recipe I am asked to make again and again.

Favorite Foods:

I eat salads every day for lunch and have been named the "Salad Queen." If you have a great recipe you want me to try, let me know!

I love all types of food but am partial to those I consider "comfort food."

I am famous for my Red Beans and Rice, Cajun Chili, Taco Soup, Italian Mac-N-Cheese, Baked Chimichangas, and my version of Rachael Ray's Buffalo Chicken Salad.
