I have lived in Waco, TX all my life, about 10 miles from Crawford area. I have a great husband I have been married to for 33 wonderful years and two grown, married children, a son and daughter, whom I adore along with their spouses, and one precious 5 yr. old grand-daughter. I work in the educational field as a computer software specialist in which I train school staff on various administrative student services software packages. I love God, family, and home, cooking, yardwork, reading - just life's simple pleasures!

Favorite Foods:

I don't have any favorite, single dish to cook because I love cooking and baking all types and styles-as long as I don't get in "the same old rut"; but I do seem to lean more towards country style cooking. I love to search out people's favorite recipes of the same type and combine them into one to give it my own signature...the hunt is almost as much fun as the actual cooking (LOL).

I am always requested to make the Thanksgiving dressing each year for a big, family holiday get-together, and the many different sweets I also bring.

Believe it or not, I don't have any cookbooks, other than my own! I voraciously read a cookbook, cull out my favorites, combine and change them to my liking, and then pass the cookbook on to others (LOL)! I intend to pass my cookbook down to my loved ones, hopefully to keep in the family for generations to come. My only regret is that through the years I did not keep track of where the original recipes came from, nor how old they are and when I modified them.
