Ilive in a small town that is split by the railroad tracks which gives us two county seats. One is Edgecombe and the other is Nash. I live in a rural area of Edgecombe. My husband was a farmer and we raised tobacco, cotton, soybeans, peanuts, and grain. He is retired and really enjoying life! We traveled a lot for awhile then our children began their families and we now enjoy our grandchildren and a great grand daughter.I love to bake and guess that would be my hobby. I also collect cookbooks. I love to do just a little changing to a recipe to make it my own. Sorry no, pet peeves.

Favorite Foods:

I am a dessert baker and a casserole maker. These are the dishes my family like best. Our favorite place to eat is a small diner in our town that servrs the best veggie soup you have ever tasted. We enjoy chinese food also.
