Hello and welcome to my Recipezaar space!
I am American married to a Welshman, and I live in France. Since 1983, we have lived for years at a time in Tunisia, Spain, Indonesia, France, Wales, England, and Kuwait. We have done a lot of traveling besides! In the US, I lived in San Diego, CA, Wenham, MA, Tucson, AZ, and Reno, NV. I studied Fine Arts and Anthropology.
My first cookbook:
My sister's first cookbook:
My mother's most used cookbook when she was a young wife and mother:
In the 1960s, when we lived in Massachusetts, WGBH in Boston broadcast the first Julia Child cooking programs. We looked forward to these programs, and really liked Julia's style and substance! My mother bought
and recipes in our house became fine tuned. We tried new recipes, and really enjoyed making them and eating our new dinners together. We loved Julia Child! I am certainly in the Julia Child generation. I think a lot of people at Recipezaar can say the same!

I don't really have a favorite cookbook anymore. I think I'd like to stick with French cooking for now, so a revisit to Julia's cookbooks is in order, plus I have really good French cookbooks to consult. I'm happy to look on the Net, which is how I came to Recipezaar! I love this site! I also think cooking blogs are great!
