about me

I am married with one daughter in college. Although I have a Latin name, I grew up in the midwest with a non-latin mother. I have enjoyed getting to know more about central American food since I have moved to California.

I am a semi-retired software engineer. Volunteer work takes up most of my time. I am passionate about Unitarian Universalism, small group ministry, and most any crafty thing.

Favorite Foods:

Bread is my favorite thing to make, especially yeast breads. I like to make them by hand or with my kitchen-aid mixer, but will cheat and use my bread machine when I don't have much time.

I love anything ethnic: Afghan, German, Indian, Thai, Salvadorean

I don't like desserts much. No chocolate, ice cream, cake or custard. I like a few cookies and pies and that's about it.
