about me

I am basically an old fashion cook but do like to try new recipes. I am retired from retail. I love to explore on my computer. I use my Better Homes & Garden cookbook quite often as does my daughter. I do a lot of canning & freezing & making pickles & jam. My Mother-in-Law was an excellent cook and taught me some of her tricks.

Favorite Foods:

I love to make pies and fig squares for my husband & grandson. They think I make the best pies ever. I love the Olive Garden but my husband prefers American food or Chinese so we try to cover them all.
