I was cook and firstmate on a luxury charter yacht in the West Indies. Learned to appreciate good food years ago. I love researching new recipes and have an absolute passion for cookbooks. My husband just gifted me with a rare copy of Galatoie's cookbook. Not heart healthy but great for some special occasions.

Favorite Foods:

gumbos, soups, seafood, "fusion" cooking...getting better at lighter versions of all as well as learning new light cooking recipes.
