about me

My purpose in joining Zaar is to post recipes for my use and my family or friends' use. I post recipes that I have tried OR recipes I want to try OR recipes someone has asked me to post. I have systematically "emptied" my vast collection of cookbooks and recipe clippings onto this site, hence, the reason for the large number of posted recipes. I use this site as my personal ultimate cookbook.

Between working full time and keeping up with my husband/stepkids/kids' activities, I manage to squeeze in a little cooking. My greatest passion is swimming--I am completely at peace in the water.

Formerly known as NurseDi. Wife of 11 years to one incredible man, mom to two kids (Jonah and Hannah, 10), and step-mom to two kids (Matt, 16, Emily, 14).
