about me

My purpose in joining Zaar is to post recipes for my use and my family or friends' use. I post recipes that I have tried OR recipes I want to try OR recipes someone has asked me to post. I have systematically "emptied" my vast collection of cookbooks and recipe clippings onto this site and that is the reason for the large number of posted recipes. I use this site as my personal ultimate cookbook.

Between working full time and keeping up with my husband/stepkids/kids' activities, I manage to squeeze in a little cooking. My greatest passion is swimming--I am completely at peace in the water.

Wife of 13 years to one incredible man, mom to two kids (Jonah and Hannah, 12), and step-mom to two kids (Matt, 18, Emily, 16). Matt is making us proud at USNA, enduring his plebe experience. Go Navy. Life is busy and I wouldn't have it any other way.
