about me

I live in Northwest Washington. I am a mom of 2 boys, ages 9 and 11. I am 30 something, and my Hubby and I recently celebrated our 13th anniversary. All through high school I worked in a gourmet restaurant. In 4 years I worked my way up from dishy/prep cook to line cook, and even head baker and dessert cook while I was there. I learned many wonderful and useful skills while at that job. I have always enjoyed cooking and baking, but my love for cooking and baking really took off from there. I spent 3 years as a Pampered Chef Consultant to learn great recipes and stock my kitchen.

Favorite Foods:

Anything Italian or chocolate related. I make an awesome chocolate decadent cake that won my hubby and I a $60 dinner certificate for a dessert competition they had @ his work. It is a work of art that I only make now for special dinners with friends or family. I do not dare make it to have around here. For some reason chocolate tends to disapear all to fast at our house...Hmmm...
I am the one that when we visit friends for dinner, I am always asked to bring the desserts!!
