Hi everyone,
A couple years ago, when my youngest son started eating solid foods, i discovered he has food allergies. He is allergic to all nuts, pumpkin, and sweet potatoes. The nut allergy is pretty serious, i have to carry allergy shots with him wherever he goes, in case he accidently eats nuts or even foods with just the trace of nuts in them. Its really scary! The doctor says i have to read the ingredients on everything my son eats. You would be surprised just how many processed foods contain nuts or traces of nuts. Nut oil gets all over the equipment they use for processing and is hard to clean off, it spreads all over everything. Once my sister was eating cashews and kissed my son on the cheek, and he broke out in hives where she kissed him! So it is a constant concern in my life. Ever since i found out my baby has food allergies, i've really been trying to become a better cook, i have gotten better, but i still have alot to learn. Which is why i love recipezaar . You are all awesome to share your knowledge and recipes. I've been learning so much from you all. I like reading the reviews and i'm always on the hunt for recipes i think my family will like. And i am having fun doing it! I promise not to post any recipes without getting a second opinion first, lol. And if anyone has any advice on how to make a recipe taste better, i would really appreciate any advice you may have for me. Thanks everybody.

Favorite Foods:

chocolate and mexican food are my all-time favorites, but i also like italian; especially pasta sauces, and japanese food; especially those japanese grill restaurants. ok, whatever taste good, lol. I am interested in learning how to cook meals from all over the world, and i have been using more and more organic foods.
