A special thanks to everyone who has tried and reviewed one of my posted recipes. Life sometimes gets in the way and days, weeks may pass before I get to thank each and everyone of you personally. Please know I greatly appreciate all the reviews and the time it took to make and review them.
That happy couple up there is my DH and me (who else would I stick up there?). LOL That photo was taken Sept/08 at my 50th class reunion. I graduated High School with my SIL, althought I didn't know her at the time. Therefore, my DH had such a great time that night seeing all his sisters friends from the past and meeting all of mine. What a grand time we had. I urge each and everyone of you to attend your class reunions.....you won't regret it.
We've been together for 50 years and have been happily married for 38.
We have two sons, one who is married to a very lovely young lady. We have been blessed with two wonderful grandchildren who have brought so much joy into our lives.
Our sons.

Our DIL.

In my immediate family I have been surrounded by a King and two Princes.....my first son was such a joy, so much so that I was so happy to learn I was to have another. I just adore little boys. So, imagine how thrilled I was to learn I was to have a Grandson.
This is Prince Nate.

But then, we got the news that a little Princess would be joining our family. Oh my, what a joy little girls are. Look what I have been missing all those years.
This is Princess Keira.

Now that were both retired we're together 24/7 and, so far, we have no complaints about that. : )
We're big movie buffs and, if a particular movie is playing somewhere, we've most likely seen it or plan to. We also enjoy dining out.....sometimes a late lunch, sometimes an early dinner.
My favorite time of the night is when we snuggle up on the sofa to watch all the programs we DRV'er.
We travel as much as we can......our favorite destination at the moment is Aruba. We go there twice a year for 2 weeks but this year we've added another week to each visit.
I love all foods especially ethnic foods such as Chinese, Mexican, Italian, Jewish, Greek, etc. and I enjoy cooking them as well.
There are several of my recipes my family always request, all of which are posted here at Zaar. My Brisket and potato pancakes recipes are a must for Hanukkah.
I absolutely love Zaar (yes, I confess, I am addicted) and have made some truly wonderful friends here.
