about me

Hi everyone, I figure it's about time I update. I have been here since about 2001, and have really loved all the recipes and friends I have found here. I have a son who will be 20 in June. He lives in Colorado where I was born and raised. I live with my DH of 11 years in Georgia, we are currently in North Georgia and love to hike when it's possible. I have had CF for almost 15 years so I am limited in what I can do. I have recently found that I have intolerances to certain foods such as Dairy, Wheat and many of my favorite vegetables so I have had to adjust my cooking to allow what I can eat into my diet. I have done lots of experimenting and have come up with some pretty interesting stuff. Can't wait to add some of these healthy recipes to my list.

Favorite Foods:

I like to cook, but I really really love to eat. I lean a lot toward hot and spicy dishes, but also love most of the traditional southern down home cooking as well. I am completely addicted to cheese which is on my bad list so I have had to learn to find other foods that I can substitute but it has been really difficult living without cheese and bread.
