Well, I love baking... What can I say. That's one thing that is never going to change. I have, however, undergone a lot of change in my life recently. I am married two years now, I'm 28 and just joined the Air Force. I went through basic training in Feb. 08 and am still in training for my job as an medical technician. It has really changed my life for the better. I thank God that I have the strength in myself through Jesus to do this. My husband is amazing and for that... I am truly blessed.
As far as Baking is concerned thou...I am really focusing on perfecting my cheesecakes, gourmet cupcakes, and other mini desserts. I have been doing some catering on the side with my gourmet cupcakes. It's been a blast and I would love to further a career in that field, but I am only one woman... I have a license in Esthiology and currently work for a wonderful group of Dermatologists here in Minneapolis.
The recipes on my site are almost 100% my very own creations. I love to do the whole "trial and error" thing... you know... make 15 Lemon Pound Cakes in one flippin' day... just to get it right. So, any questions or comments you have, I love the feedback. I am a stickler for perfection, and if there is that 'one thing' missing in a recipe, it goes without saying that I'll keep doing it till I think it's right.
I have so many passions in life... Being a wife, a Makeup Artist (10 years), a photographer (just got a brand new Cannon 30D) a baker, a chef, a Medical Esthetician, an Airman in the Air Force Reserves, Painter and all things artistic...
CUPCAKES (they are my signature desert), any mini version of anything- mini cheesecakes, tartlets, I love 'tasters'... love to make them even more than I love to eat them. Lemon pound cake (I created my very own amazing recipe), anything chocolate- milk or white. I love pasta, pizza... Pretty much anything Italian or Mexican... chicken (of course), anything eclectic where flavors mingle with eachother... Things that liven my taste buds. I like to experiment with different infusions. I love sweet and salty combo's... and I am most into baking right now. I love a good top sirloin steak- Medium Rare... I pretty much love all food... I don't- however- do olives, alfredo sauce, beats, cauliflower, green bean cassarole, tater-tot hot dish, or macaroni and cheese- no matter HOW homemade it is.... ![]()
