Feeding the masses is the reason I use Zaar. Most of my cooking occurs simply to keep everyone fed (we have 5 kids at home, 4 are teenagers). I double almost every recipe to feed the crew. I am teaching my kids to cook - they are tremendously helpful and we have a very good time making a mess. :]

Favorite Foods:

I love to cook and bake for the people I love. My favorites right now are homemade soups and cookies. I also do a good deal of crock pot cooking and make-ahead dishes. Homemade pies and bars are probably the most popular things I make. We are dessert eaters and many of my reviews are for sweets!

I don't review recipes that we did not like as I don't believe it means there is anything wrong with a recipe. I have made many more recipes from this site than I have reviewed, but I simply choose not to write negative reviews. I will generally only post reviews for 4 or 5 star recipes.
