This is me on the beach (at sunrise) from a southern vacation last year. After loosing more than 50 pounds I am not so shy about bathing suits, beaches or pools as I used to be.
I'm a co-host in the Canadian Cooking forum, come over and join us!
When I'm not working, I'm a relaxing around the house kind of person. I like to read, surf the net and play adventure games (of which there are fewer and fewer). Post Mortem is one of my fav's, the sequel was OK but not as good, and I think that's the end of the line for those. I like the CSI games too, they need to make a new one!
My Zaar name is the same as my little gray tabby cat who likes to watch me use the computer...
I like to cook and experiment in the kitchen and try new recipes. Which is how I wandered into Zaar, the best site for recipes...

I love Chinese, Mexican and Seafood restaurants. I usually order things I never make at home, either because they're too time consuming or no one else will eat it (like calamari).
Standard substitutions: I use butter. If I've reviewed a recipe that calls for margarine, light margarine or shortening, you can safely assume that I substituted butter when making it.
