about me

I live in the wonderful city of Louisville, KY. Pronounce it how you will, it is IMHO the best kept secret in America. I was born on the East coast, and raised in CA. I enjoy reading, video games, computer games and cross-stitching in my spare time. I work as an on-site manager for a self storage company, so I am always surfing for quick easy to prepare meals, or meals that can be thrown in a crock pot and forgotten. My relief manager on my days off always says she gets hungry working in my office, since I spend most of the day preparing food and she can smell it.

I am divorced, but remarried. My new hubby says I caused him to gain weight. I always tell him, just because I prepare it, doesn't mean he has to eat it! My teenage son lives with Dad in southern TN, but when he does come to visit, he loves my cooking.

Favorite Foods:

I love food. I am not a fan of seafood unfortunately, and can't eat mushrooms (allergy). I adore Italian food, and Chinese, and good ol' American, but my absolute favorite is Mexican. I make a mean set of chicken enchiladas and my friends love my nachos when I make those. I am still looking for a good refried bean recipe.
