I'm a midwest transplant to Atlanta. I'm currently working as an office slave while I try to write my great american novel.

Cooking is how I destress so I'm always reading and collecting cook books. I'm edging up to about 200 and my dear bf says I need to cull the herd. He's probably right but he's going to have to fight me tooth and claw anyway. Currently I'm trying to pair down my Cooking Light and Vegetarian Times back log. I'm not a vegetarian but I really enjoy vegetarian foods.

I love cats and reading. My kitty Ivan is part siamese and learns tricks. Really. I love rain and hot tea. I hate slogging through the rain to go to work and I'm not a fan of sweet things.

Favorite Foods:

Favorite comfort foods are fried chicken (a la Folks) and spinach noodle casserole.

I love soups and stews. I'm a beer snob and love talking about them.

Favorite cuisines are Japanese, Thai, Italian, Greek, and fusion...in that order.

Favorite restaurant is Ru San's (I melt for their udon bowls)
