I work for a large newspaper in advertising. I have 2 sons ages 19 and 14 who are quite enjoying trying my new recipes. Through the week after working full time, I don't really love the idea of cooking, it's more a chore. My husband and I both share getting the meals ready but it's really just to get the dinner over with. But on the weekends, I really enjoy cooking because I have the time. I also love entertaining. I really think that food, good friends and family go hand in hand. I just love this site and found that I have become a lot better cook. I went through my own recipe collection and was able to throw out a lot of bits of paper and old books because I'm able to find almost everything on line. I really appreciate reading the feedback from others on recipes because it's so helpful.
I love to camp in the summer with our trailer at the Provincial Parks. Nature, family, the beaches, campfires and a glass of sherry and I'm in my glory!

Favorite Foods:

I love prime rib steak as my favorite meal. This last few years though I've found that I am loving vegetables more and more. The Cauliflower kugel and the roasted brussel sprouts have opened up a whole new world for me! Sometimes I'll just have the veggies for a main main.
