about me

I live in the Bulkley Valley in Northern BC, Canada. I do the laundry in a nursing home and have been for the past 7 years. I love fishing, driving in the derby, mudbogging, canning, woodworking and learning new things. My favorite cookbooks are weightwatchers, Jean Pare's, Light and Tasty, just about anything. I like recipes to be easy and quick. Not those long recipes that take forever to prepare. I love where I live,(on a lake) my husband, kids and my 3 dogs.

Favorite Foods:

I love mom's home cooking! But, I also love seafood, pizza, pasta and different salads. I think my famous dish would be my homemade pizza. Everybody loves it! My husband loves my tacos though too. I'm not really much into going out that much as we really don't have alot of restaurants. But, I like Boston Pizza and Pizza Hut.
