about me

I was born and raised an east coast gal
and I married a west coast guy. We live
in his neck of the woods-beautiful
southern Oregon with our 4 wonderful
kids (most always wonderful and sometimes they're down-right,well-KIDS!). I am a
mom on the run and I cook for fun. I
love quite afternoons with a book or
just enjoying my family at home-
or at the coast..where else?!

Favorite Foods:

Holidays are still my favorite times to cook
and entertain our large extended family.
I cook primarily American and Southern-style
dishes, but enjoy most foods. My husband
loves Mexican dishes...I have often wondered
if he doesn't have a little 'espanol in his
blood..hot hot hot!!! My kids are picky
(don't know where they got that from) -so I don't stray too far from the basics, but that doesn't stop me from trying something new.
I love this site! I can find anything here
and it feels like your checking in with a
friend for a change from the 'same-ole-thang' (as we say in the south)!
