I'm a vegetarian living in Uptown Minneapolis. I cook a lot in the winter, watch a lot of baseball in the summer, and knit like a fiend year-round.

Favorite Foods:

I love foods that have layers of flavor, and I'm a sucker for herbs and spices. Curries, chilis and salads you can't build at your neighborhood salad bar are my favorites to make. During the long Minnesota winter I cook savory foods in my crockpot, and during the summer I grill whenever I can.

With the short summers up here, farmers' markets are a special treat, and I'm always looking for new ways to use those tempting piles of fresh organic produce!
