about me

I am a widower with no children and I own 4 small bistro/bread bakeries on the east coast. Professionally trained in the US, I love well made, fresh baked bread. Favorite cookbooks are anything by Julia Child, Alton Brown is also fabulous, and "The bread Baker's Apprentice: Mastering the Art of Extraordinary Bread" by Peter Reinhart, is a book full of good advice and how to's.

Favorite Foods:

I have many favorites, but will try anything. A chef who is willing to try new foods and expand his/her palate is the key to being a good cook. My wife always said, "Limit your tastes and you limit your possibilities in the kitchen".
