My husband and I live in Costa Rica. I like to go for long walks on the beach, collect shells, read and scrapbook. I am learning how to boogie board and my husband is learning to surf.

I have never really enjoyed cooking until now, and it still isn't always enjoyable. This web site is helping me a lot. It is challenging finding all the ingredients as they aren't as readily available as they were in California, but we've managed to make some pretty great dishes lately.

Favorite Foods:

We really miss Chinese food. We used to eat it at least once a week between dinner and lunch. I've found several recipes here that I am going to try. My husband's favorite recipes are #31581 for Honey Walnut Prawns and #103215 for Panda Express Orange Chicken.

It has been nice discovering all the fresh foods they prepare here. Until recently the nearest fast food restaurant has been two hours away so we've gotten out of that habit.

Whenever we go back to the States we try to go to our favorite Chinese restaurant, Jake's Pizza, Chili's, Panda Express and Armadillo Willy's.
