My actual, true and legal name is Joy Flower Smiley Gay. (in 1969 my parents were liberal unmarried hippies) but, I am not into health food.
I am a transplant to the Ozarks from Santa Cruz CA.
I am a jewelry designer and Nail Salon owner.
My absolute favorite cookbook is The Joy Of Cooking (old version) given to me by my Grandmother, because it is the most thorough. Recipe Zaar is my second.
For fun we camp, boat, home improve, travel, garden (love fresh food!) Cook.
Pet peeve: those little stiff flyers in magazines!!! HATE THEM!

Famous for - Sunday Roast, or chocolate gravy on biscuits for Christmas morning
