I love everything associated with food: cookbooks, recipes, cooking shows, restaurants, you name it. My favorite recipe has got to be my aunt Lydie's french pie crust recipe... perfect for making mini apple turnovers. The two kitchen appliances that have changed my life are my microplane and my electric oven thermometer.

My favorite foods are sushi, melon gazpacho, pumpkin scones, margherita pizza and sizzling rice soup. My favorite restaurants in and around Sacramento are Biba, Slocum House, Pluto's, Ernesto's, Mikuni and Silver Dragon.
